Over the past few weeks I have completed several Cat College courses ranging from genetics, biology, zoology, psychology and art history. I found the following statistics interesting. How about a quick game of Trivial Purr-Suit? Do you know????

• The cat’s ancestors lived 10,000 years ago in the Middle East.
• Cats have been shown in art for thousands of years.
• There are 30 family cat classifications like bobcat, cougar and cheetah.
• Cat gestation is 63 days.
• Cats average 4 kittens per litter.
• Cats inherit 10 chromosomes from each parent.
• Cats have 30 permanent teeth.
• Cats have about 244 bones.
• Cats require 1/6 the amount of light to see as compared to humans.
• Cats hear sounds up to 60,000 hertz compared to 20,000 hertz for humans.

Bountiful Blessings!
