Welcome to the launch of Catnip Connection. The purpose of my blog is to share snippets of my life as a newly self-published author and as an eternal animal lover. It is not by accident that Catnip Connection is launched on my birthday weekend. Around this time every year, I reflect on all the blessings, opportunities, and accomplishments in my life for the previous year. Then I envision what I want to do in the upcoming year. One paramount desire for 2008 is for readers to discover my writing and to make a heartfelt connection with them. I have selected a blog as one vehicle to accomplish this. I plan to blog once week, so please look for a new posting every weekend. I encourage you to comment as well.
Bountiful Blessings!

Linda…Congratulations on your outstanding piece of literature! Your writings of “Tatianna” is a compelling story filled with emotional charge and heartfelt joy. Thank you for bringing the importance of our furry friends to the forefront of our lives. They do, indeed, complete our existence. May you always be comforted by the “one” who warms your shoulder and your heart.

Linda – I’m a dog lover! I always admire cats from afar so I was not prepared for my heart to be completely enveloped by Tatianna and your amazing tale. What a beautiful piece of writing.
How rare it is to be so emotionally taken in by a memoir. Your book is not just for cat lovers but anyone who has a heart! As you shared your personal journey and your connection to your cats I became more enthralled with each page. Thank you for daring to share all of your personal turmoil as well as your joy as you and your feline friends became a magnificent team! You have inspired me to love my Trixie in a whole new way! (and maybe meet her continual request for a cat!)
I’ve already recommended your book to all my pet loving friends – congratulations and happiest of birthdays.

Nikki,
Thank you for your kind remarks. You are right, I cannot imagine my life without pets. My dear sweet Lexie Lee is the one who warms my shoulder and my heart now. I will have to introduce you to her in a future blog!

Linda,
It is great to hear from a dog lover! Tatianna is converting some of you already!! There’s a warmhearted story, Punkin, My Little Orange Kitty, written by Anna Maria Trusky (a dog person) at http://www.lindamohr.net/share_story.html I think you will love it.
Check it out–Trixie will thank you later!! Thank you for recommending the book. I really appreciate your effort.
